Call for Mentors for Primary Student-led Projects

Invite for Parents, Faculty, Interns & High School Students

In order for Primary student-led projects to grow and thrive the team is coming to realise that we are dependent on recruiting more mentors to guide students along their project journeys. This will allow us to accommodate a greater number of students and diversify their projects.

We are hereby reaching out to the whole community, especially:

Faculty, Interns, Parents, HS Students

This will be an exciting opportunity (satisfaction guaranteed) to help young Primary students continue seeing through their own student-initiated projects. Those who sign up (mentors):

  1. will only work in small intimate groups of 4 students per mentor max

  2. need not be an expert on the matter, but we will try and match mentors to projects as best fit

  3. should commit to one hour per week for a minimum of one term.

We are currently recruiting mentors for the following times:

Mondays 09:30 – 10:25  & Fridays 13:15 – 14:10

Location: Primary Science Lab

Kindly spread the word and contact either sarah.etherington@greenschool.org and/or olivier.bourdon@greenschool.org if you would like to volunteer or if you have any further questions.

Many many thanks,

Pak Olly

PS. Don’t feel like you need to be an expert in the student projects (they are varied and your role is more about helping the student with the process than being an encyclopedia of knowledge).
