Creating an Eco- Library

Continuing the work from last block Jacqui and Jayden have been spending their Wednesday’s creating an educational space in Payangan. This space will be opened later in June for the local community, and offer environmental education for all the surrounding schools. The library is supported by Green Books who provide community libraries with environmental education books in Bahasa Indonesia. Their work empowers local people into national and international issues as well as sustainable practices. The work is tiring, hot and often leaves us covered in paint but 100% worth it.
