Dear Families and friends,
What a busy week! We have had an amazing week of celebrations this week and it has been really inspiring!
We began the week with our Halloween dress up celebrations on Monday which were fantastic and lots of fun. Grade 1B and Grade 1A are really enjoying working together to develop and build our full Grade 1 community! Hopefully you saw and enjoyed the photos we shared on Monday of these activities.
After a couple of days off to celebrate Galungan, we have had full days of learning and excitement, including participating in another beautiful Full Moon Ceremony.
On a learning front, we have been finding out about 3D shapes in maths, have been working on developing our classroom vocabulary in Bahasa and have continued practising our Papuan dance in Indonesian Studies. Wonderful, fun filled learning!
Next Friday, Grade 1 will be sharing some of our learning and a few important parts of our week at the Friday afternoon assembly. It would be great to see lots of families there with big smiles and cheers!
– We have had a few children coming to school without water bottles again in the past week. We appreciate that it has been a very busy time, but if you can try to make sure that your child has a water bottle everyday that would be fantastic!
– Thank you to everyone who has made a huge effort to get here early in the mornings. Being able to start our learning day on time at 8:15 really does make a difference.
Finally, have a lovely weekend and enjoy whatever you will be doing!
