We’ve just finished a short but productive week here in grade 5! In Thematics, students have wrapped up their final mentor meetings and refined their project presentations. They are so excited to present to our local community next week! In math we went all out for math games with variables and algebraic expressions. Students were completely engaged and competitive in applying the math skills that they have learned this term. In numeracy we have challenged all students with a middle school -level weekly word study list which will help better prepare them for the upcoming workload and transition. Finally, in Bahasa students had a review and Bahasa games week to help solidify their learnings from the year. Great work everyone!
Next week will be packed with hard work, and loads of fun! We start out Monday with a practice round of Footprints Projects and peer feedback forms to help better refine our presentations. Tuesday will be our highly anticipated Footprints Project presentations in the Sangkep starting at 9:30! Please make sure and visit then. Wednesday will all day class outing and celebration (please see email from Ibu Rachael for details). Thursday will be a normal school day, and Friday will be Middle School Quest Presentations in the Sangkep.
Please rest this weekend, as we’ve had many sick students around campus and we plan to be quite busy the next two weeks!
