Grade 5a, Week 8!

Dear families,

We have just had another successful week of learning and community building in grade 5a! We began the week by presenting our thematics projects to class 5b, and telling them a bit more about who we are, and how we are connected to our own home cultures. We have also begun to share our garden design ideas which will drive our next steps in transforming our classroom garden. Additionally, we are volunteering to help the High School students each week with their OROS build next to the gym (see pictures below), which we are excited about!

Coming up next week, please remind students to bring their traditional clothes on Thursday (5/10) as there will be a Full Moon Ceremony from 8:30 – 9:00 in the HOS.

Thank you to all of the parents who made it out to our PT conferences, it was a wonderful opportunity to continue building our home-school connection. We hope you have an excellent weekend!

Sincerely,

-Pak Lance, and Ibu Dee
