Grade 5a Week 9!

Dear parents and families,

We’ve had another busy, but awesome week here in 5a. We began by wrapping up our work on fractions, and completed a mini-assessment using the Kahoot online program. Fun! Students are also working hard to finish up their class designed Ogoh Ogoh, that will be entered in next week’s competition (see pictures below) and will include a song that the students have created. Finally, we are finishing the week with student-led conferences whereby students have been showing off all of their key learnings from the year. These were very fun to observe, and engaging for both students and parents as there are so many good activities to share from throughout the year. Thanks to everyone who made it out!

For next week please make note of the following important happenings:

Wednesday: Gym will be closed at break times throughout school day

Thursday (full school day): Nyepi/ Ogoh-Ogoh parade and celebration. We will be meeting in the Sangkep at 9Am, where we will begin with a gamelan performance, and then transition into the parade starting at 9:30.

Friday: No school – Nyepi

HAPPY MARCH HOLIDAYS! – see everyone back at school on April 4th!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
