High School Humanitarian Openstreetmap Team

Greetings from the first meeting of the Green School HOT Team.

High school has started a High School Humanitarian Openstreetmap Team. We will be helping to contribute to the HOTOSM community by digitizing satellite images for humanitarian relief agencies, more information click here. Please let us know if you are interested in attending a training day on the 11th of November at Green School, 8:00am to 10:00. This will include a tutorial on editing Openstreetmaps and an introduction to HOTOSM.org and their mission, goals, and how to get involved.

For the Green School “Mapathon” for the  #100mapathon event on the 18th of November, celebrating http://osmgeoweek.org/ that will include volunteers from the parents, students and Green School staff invited to help put thousands of at risk homes on the map!
