iHUB Updates – October 31, 2018

IHUB ART is getting ready to show their work at Bamboopalooza. Don’t miss it!

IHUB IDEAS is learning about solar panels and discuss their project with mentor. Some students are doing hydroponic project.

KemBali Club is continuing their upcycling project: KemBali goes to Warung. This project aims to make items to sell. Project’s profit will go to install separation bins in local warungs.

Engineering for Kids is scheduled on Monday and Tuesday. We’d like to inform that Engineering for Kids Tuesday class will be placed in the ‘Desa learning space’ building directly behind THE IHUB.

LEAP Jr signed up this week to use IHUB’s space and facilities. Students learned about welding in anticipation of building bike racks for the Green School fleet of 13 bamboo bikes.

We did testing on Sorghum and bio-resin. Both products are agricultural waste processes, given another look in the IHUB to produce a new product ready for a variety of applications.

Have you ever wondered, how to make a cute bamboo container?

Join our bamboo container making workshop this Friday, 2 November 2018 (10.00 am – 12.00 pm).
