5TH GRADERS AND PRECIOUS PLASTIC MACHINES

After watching Spirit of Hornbill dance from Indigenous Celebration at primary assembly, 5th graders came to the IHUB and learned about recycling plastic with precious plastic machines.

In this meeting, they learned basic information of using machines and participate in demonstration. They also showed their interests by asking couple questions about plastic and the machines.

GET A GRIP WITH TORIN AND CHARLES

Torin and Charles continued their project. Torin made wax in Bio Bus corner and Charles learned how to sew the grip for surf board.

FRIENDSHIP BRACELET WITH GRANCE, MADDIE AND LOLA

This week Grance, Maddie and Lola made a new color of string for the bracelet. They also came with the bracelet prototype which looks beautiful. They also learned how to give price to their product.

FRISBEE DISC WITH MATS

The idea is amazing. Mats use materials and tools which are easy to get: bottle cap, frying pan and plastic compression machine, to make a frisbee disc from plastic.

ASA — BASIC ENGINEERING IN SOLAR PANEL

We learned about solar power and made a solar powered light using diodes, capacitors and potentiometer.
