Dear 4B Family,
We hope you’ve all enjoyed a wonderful week of celebration and relaxation.
There’s been so much going on, both in and beyond the classroom, with Merdeka, Resi Gana and Saraswati, that it’s almost hard to believe we’re only in Week 2. The atmosphere at school has been dynamic.
As we move into Week 3 together, here are a few dates for your diary (and a handful of timetable details to help the kids organise themselves).
Saturday, 19 August (tomorrow) – Saraswati Day
Our ceremony is from 10am to 12pm. All families are welcome. For those attending, please wear traditional Balinese attire and arrive by 9:30am.
Monday, 21 August
4B Library allocation – students are encouraged to return or renew the books they have on loan.
BSSA Soccer Practice for 9/10 Girls is being held on the field from 3:30 to 4:30pm with Pak Putu, Ibu Harriett and Pak Jayden.
Tuesday, 22 August
4B PE allocation – running shoes, a hat and water bottle are required.
BSSA Soccer Practice for 9/10 Boys is being held from 3:30 to 4:30pm on the field with Pak Dave.
Wednesday, 23 August
4B Green Studies allocation – closed toed shoes and a hat are recommended.
BSSA Soccer Games, Week 3 – 9/10 Boys play at SLK; 9/10 Girls play at CCS.
Thursday, 24 August
4B Sport allocation – running shoes, a hat and water bottle are required.
Friday 25 August
4B Green Studies allocation (2) – closed toed shoes and a hat are recommended.
An all-school assembly is being held in the Sangkep from 2:30 to 3:15pm.
The fortnightly Farmers’ Market runs from 2 – 5pm. With a number of our key learning programs really beginning to take off from next week, we’re looking forward to plenty of fun over the coming days. Please stay tuned to upcoming blog posts for more information on our adventures.
