Pre-K Geckos ~ End of Term 2

Dear Parents and Friends,

What a fantastic time we had this week, the last week of this term. These 9 weeks have been very wonderful, fun-learning, and great. Semester One has come to an end and we are looking forward to continuing our journey in Term 3, Semester Two.

We started by painting individually on canvas as a Christmas present for a loved one. The Geckos painted carefully with various colours and created really beautiful artworks. We walked to the bridge, played and ran around on the bridge before heading to Yoga Studio for Yoga Class. On the way to Yoga Class, we walked past the fish pond and the Aquaponic. During yoga with Ibu Erika, we practiced polar animal poses.

The Geckos decorated Christmas trees on Tuesday by gluing glitter and sparkles. In Green Studies, we walked to Mepantigan to find frogs.

Wednesday was a day full of surprises! In the morning we received new toys and books from Ibu Suci. We had a visit from some Mystery Guests and at snack time, Ibu Russlee, baby Chloe, and Pak Wayan came to visit us. The Geckos were so surprised and excited! Our last surprise was with Ibu Susie, who came and did a craft activity with us. We threaded various beads to make a key ring.

Today, the last day of school, we had a special movie day. We made a little cinema house and watched a children’s Christmas movie “The Smurf Christmas Carol”. The Geckos and the Starlings had the last P.E Class together for this term with Pak Bambang. The students played “Rat Rabbit Game” and were challenged to climb and slide on a big ball.

The school is close today until January 10th 2016. On Monday, January 11th, there will be an orientation day for new families. The students will be back at school on Tuesday, January 12th.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. May this season brings you success, good times, and happiness. We will see you again in 2016.

Thank you for your loves and supports.

Warm wishes

*The Geckos Team*
