Pre-K Geckos ~Term2 ~Week 8

Dear Parents and Friends,

Bravo!! The Early Years Indonesian Assembly this morning was so amazing. The Geckos rocked the stage for the first time. After all of our hard work practicing and rehearsing, we finally did it. It was a great performance. We are so proud of all the Geckos! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This week, we learned about “Polar Animals”. The students created Polar Bears. They glued cotton on a bear image from recycled cardboard. They were also challenged to fold paper and cut shapes to create snowflakes.

The Geckos were introduced to more animal yoga poses during Yoga Class with Ibu Erika. In Green Studies, Pak Brett took us to feed the rabbits, where we planted corn seeds in the garden next to the rabbits’ house. It was so hot but we still had fun. In PE Class, Pak Bambang organized games that mimicked animal movements. Today, we had our last Library visit with Ibu Ayu and Music Class with Pak Alex for this semester. The students enjoyed dancing, singing, and played djembe.

Next week will be the last week of school for semester one. The school will run until Thursday, December 17th.

Thank you for your abundant love and support. We will see you on Monday.

Warm regards,

*Geckos Team*
