Pre-K Starlings, Term 3- Week 10

Dear Parents and Friends,

What a fun week! This week, the Starlings explored the “Amazing Creatures” who takes care of the earth, those are the Gnomes/ Elves/ Duendes/ Curupiras. We created tree house using recycled plastic bottle, papers, glue, and paint. Then we decorated the house using mixed materials. For fine motor skill activity, we created more decorations for the house and the special creatures, the Elves and Gnomes, using plasticine.

We were visited by a mystery guest, Marina, on Wednesday. She taught us a fun Math game to learn about shapes.

The class went to a fun trip to Kul Kul Farm. It was such a cool and fun class walk. We visited the nursery garden and fed the ducks, goats, and the chickens. We also had a chance to see the process of making coconut sugar and tried to eat it. On the way back to Green School, each kid took a rock to see if the Elves will come to Starlings Classroom and transform the rocks into magic crystals.

During Bahasa Indonesia Class, we focused on learning the colors through games. We o also played an Indonesian traditional game, “Cublak Cublak Suweng”.

Today, we had farewell party for Izabella’s last day at Green School. Each kid made a love heart-shaped card to wish Izabella good luck. We are so sad and will miss her so much. Thank you for being a Starling and we wish all the best for you, Bella.

Next week is the last week for this term 3. We will have only four school days next week, Monday to Thursday. Friday next week is the Good Friday. Ibu Komang will help Grade 5B all week next week and she will be back to Starlings Class after the term break.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone. We will see you on Monday.

Much love,

Ibu Kadek, Ibu JanJan, Ibu Jessica, Ibu Komang.
