Rooster Year and Rainy Days!

The past two weeks has been filled with so much rain! For Chinese people rain is a sign of good luck, so let’s hope that this Rooster year will bring lots lucks for everybody! To celebrate Chinese New Year, the entire school wore red, gold, pink, green, or yellow. Kindy took it to the next step by wearing special Chinese hats that they made. On the same day, a mystery guest visited the class to make the day even more festive! It was Bella’s mother who is from China! She did a story telling on Chinese New Year then with the help of Bella she gave children ‘Angpao’, Chinese red envelopes filled with chocolate gold coins.
