Special Kirtan performance

We would like to announce a special (late) evening performance/Kirtan on the 24th of May from 18.00-20.00. Pak Baptiste will play music with Lindsey Wise (Josh’ wife) and Ibu Nicola around the Crystal.

“Lindsey loves singing and inspiring others to sing from their hearts. She offers singing circles and kirtans, teaching mantras and inspirational songs with call and response. Whether you already love to sing kirtan or you’ve never tried, you’ll feel right at home as we join our smiles, hearts, and voices around the crystal, singing together. She will be singing with Nicola and playing with Baptiste, cello player.”

Be there! Our whole community is invited plus 25 Educators from Malaysia who are joining the Green Educator Course from 23-26 February.

Kirtan: “A Kirtan is the Universal language of Spirit, the song of the Soul. Based on ancient chants, it has the ability to quiet the mind if listened to with intention. The wallah (leader) sings the mantra, and the audience sings it back.  A single chant can go on for up to forty minutes.  As you sing with each other you experience a deep connection with the musicians, the other audience members and yourself.  And when the music stops, your mind is quiet.“
