Starlings – End of Term 4 and Happy Holiday Everyone!

Dear families,

It was the last super duper busy bees week for the Starlings. There were so many special events every day! The Starlings had Full Moon Ceremony, Kindy Graduation, Fun Mud Pit, Pajama Day, and Last Assembly. What a busy week, right?

Kindergarten Graduation

“You are the star of the day!” “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain in waiting, so… get on your way!” Dr.Seuss “It’s time to say good-bye. Your year has come to an end. You’ve made more cherished memories and many more new friends.”

Dear Kindy friends,

We can’t believe your Kindergarten year is over. You survived a year of firsts; new friends, new school, new routine, and you did it all in stride.

Thank you my dear Kindy friends, for sharing your playground to Starlings. We played sand, played tire swing, played toys in the classroom, and played water together. Thank you for always helping and making us laugh. THANK YOU!

Dear my Kindy friends, you will always be wonderful, you will always be brave, you will always be beautiful, you will always be strong, you will always be kind, you will always be perfect in our eyes. We are proud of you, now and forever and we are so excited to move to your classroom, in Kindy. Love always and forever, my lovely Kindy friends!

Surprises for Kindergarten

Full Moon Ceremony

The Starlings made Kwangen, the offering for the Full Moon Ceremony. The Starlings followed the ceremony activity very peacefully.

Fun Mud Pit

The Starlings play Fun Mud into mud pit near the bridge and paddy fields with Geckos, Pak Brett, and some parents. That was gonna be the last day activity with Pak Brett since Pak Brett will not in Green School for next academic year. We wish you a great new adventure, Pak Brett! Also, we would like to thank all parents who came and joined to Fun Mud Pit on Wednesday. It was so much fun! Thank you! It was a beautiful sight to see parents playing mud with children. Connect with nature with fun way, that is Green School!

Pajama Days

The Starlings wore pajama or sleepwear in Pajama Day. They watched a movie with Geckos, the ‘Ice Age 4’, and had a popcorn party! What a fun day!

The Starlings did some yoga poses through cards. There was lizard on the rock, tree, mountain, river, boat, warrior 1 and 2, airplane, and cobra. That was the last day of Yoga Class with Ibu Sarah. Thank you so much Ibu Sarah for sharing your time to teach the Starlings yoga. We love you, namaste!

End Year Project

The Starlings made cushions for their end year project. They can draw whatever they want. Each Starlings wrote their name down on every cushion. Next, they put the cotton inside the cushion and Ibu Komang helped to sew it. The cushion will be a memento for the Starlings children.

The Starlings also made love letter for Pak Brett, Ibu Sarah, housekeeping team, gardener team, kitchen team, and security team. Thank you everyone for always helping us! Our classroom and playground always clean, our plants in the garden grow beautifully, and our area always safe from snakes because of you! Thank you, thank you, We can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for us. Suksema semuanya!

Thank you so much everyone for this beautiful and amazing year in Starlings. Thank you for your care and support. Now, it’s time for taking some rest, having fun, and snuggling with family. Happy holiday, dear friends!
