Hello again. It’s hard to believe that it’s already the last full week of school. The Starlings have grown and developed so much this school year and we have loved having the opportunity to be their teachers. We are very grateful for the chance to be with your bright children each day. Thank you for showering us with gratitude, in the form of words, drawings, hugs, flower showers and a delicious breakfast party on Monday morning. It was a perfect way to start the week. Thank you!
Another fun moment was the MUD PIT! The students were excited to jump in the mud with Pak Brett, Ibu Krisna and several brave Dads. There were crocodile races and leap frogs, just to name a couple of the fun activities. Our children are really not afraid to get muddy, as you can see from the pictures.
Pak Charlie and Ibu Liddy, Rock’s parents, came to surprise us on Monday after Snack Time, as our Mystery Guests. They taught us how to make music from our bodies, which are also instruments. Pak Charlie also serenaded us with his lovely guitar and singing voice. Thank you for visiting us. We love Mystery Guests!
One of the most requested games in Yoga Class is “Yoga Duck Duck Goose”. Dreams came true as the Starlings had one last chance to play this game before the school year ends. The students love to have a turn to be the yoga teacher and instruct their classmates.
In Cooking Class, the Starlings made “avocado boats”. They smashed avocado and tortilla chips and mixed it together with sour cream and cheese. The avocado was sliced in half and baked in the oven. Delicious!

Tuesday is Pajama Day for Starlings. We will be celebrating Myla’s birthday and many Starlings have asked for a pajama day at school. Again, no problem if your child does not want to wear pajamas, it’s completely optional.
Wednesday is Kindy Graduation. Please try to arrive before 8:45 am because we need to be there ready for a 9:00 am start. There is limited viewing options, as the ceremony takes place on the steps leading up to the Heart of School. If you would like to watch, please stand at the bottom of the steps to make sure there is enough space for all of the Kindy parents, who stand at the top of the stairs.
Thursday is an early dismissal at 11:00 am. Please pick up your child from the Sangkep. There will be a short Assembly beginning at 10:30 am.
Thank you! Have a wonderful weekend.
Ibu Russlee, Ibu Krisna and Ibu Komang
