Thank You For 2019 With IHUB

Innovation Hub, KemBali, BioLab and Project Center

IHUB team is very grateful to learn from all the classes and projects that have been worked on in the IHUB. There are so many constructive ideas and suggestions to learn from and we plan to improve and make better collaborations for future projects.

During the first semester of the 2019/2020 school year, IHUB hosted 414 visits from students and teachers include Faculty classes, ASA, Kodde Kiddo, and individual student or teacher projects. This number doesn’t include the facility use by the Carpenter team, BioBus and other departments. Some highlight classes and projects collaborations with the IHUB include: HS Energy Works, IDEA Mushroom, Robotic and Electronic class, Skateboard and Fingerboard making, Environmental Study, UN Fabrication, HS Science, Natural Boardmarker, Green Stones, and LEAPs. ASA in the IHUB offered Green Products, Sewing, Craft and Recycling Plastics.

IHUB has been doing weekly workshops and welcomed group visits. We hosted 16 workshop and 4 group visits. This number does not include Green School Extended tour. KemBali Goes to School consistently worked with SMP 5 Abiansemal and SDN 1 Sibang Kaja. In addition to these projects, KemBali invited more than 100 local students to learn at Green School how to manage waste and how to use the plastic recycle machines. KemBali was also involved in some classes such as Introduction to Microplastic, Microbead and Food Waste, and Ceremonial

Waste Class.

Project Center funded IDEA Mushroom project, HS Energy and Green Building, Mud Kitchen, LEAP Crystal Renovation, Grade 2 Craft and Painting, Flashlight Class, Greenstone – Local Coconut Farmer, Greenstone – Self Defense for Girls, GSE Baby House, and KKC – Natural Boardmarker. BioLab also helped in classes such as BioBus Jalan-jalan and Science Fair. During this semester, BioLab worked on product development. Hopefully it will be ready at Green School shop. Some new products highlights: Virgin Coconut Oil, Coconut Cooking Oil, Essential oil and its derivatives.

IHUB top products are Christmas Tree, Bamboo Design and Essential Oils. There were 44 transactions for sales during August to December, not includes sales through Green Shop.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for working with us. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your holidays be filled with joy. See you soon, innovators!

Note: And, if you borrow any tools, please bring them back so we can

inventory them.
