Green School was honored on 29 October by a visit from Deborah C. Lynn, Cultural Affairs Attaché from the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta. This meeting was a result of U.S. Embassy connections made by Pak Aaron and Ibu Sara (Green School Enterprise Program) while they were presenting at the Rhythms of Rimba Wildlife Festival in Borneo last August.
Pak Aaron and Pak Tim (representing Kul Kul Connection) discussed with Ms. Lynn opportunities to work together to support entrepreneurship in Indonesia, and how Green School and Kul Kul Connection can play a broader role and get our community engaged.
A nice surprise was finding out that Pak Ganda, our new Internal Communications Coordinator, used to work at the U. S. Embassy and was able add greatly to the conversation.
Any updates on where this might lead will be shared with the community as things develop.
