Update: Middle School Distance Learning Plan

Dear Middle school Parents –

By now you will have all received the news of the temporary closure of campus starting on Tuesday, March 17th due to the COVID-19 situation. The uncertainty and unpredictability of these times have, no doubt, brought us all into a heightened state.

It is important that you know that leadership and teachers have been coordinating and gathering information to ensure that our Distance Learning Program is effective and considers not only learning factors, but social emotional impacts as well.

Attached as a pdf you will find our the ‘MS Distance Learning Plan’.  Please take the necessary time to understand the many aspects and expectations of our approach.  We are aware that there is a significant learning curve in making a full transition to an online learning program.  We are prepared to start with students on Monday, March 16th on campus to prepare them.

Please make well-being the top priority for your family.  We are here to support you and are striving to maintain connectedness to keep our community strong, and do know that we are all here to support each other in any way that we can.

Please see the modified schedule for Monday below. It might seem confusing at first,  but we will walk your children through it on Monday, allowing for them to touch-base with each of their teachers before the end of the day.
