Week 7 and 8 in 3B

Dear all parents and families,

Here are some learning activities that has been happening in 3B:

Last week in Thematic we did an estimation of walking 1 km. How does it look and feel like and how long does it take. The students also learn to solve some problems about distance and time

In Math : We reviewed Time Tables in different strategies.

In Literacy: The students are learning about suffixes.

Bahasa and Budaya Indonesia : The students are learning about leisure activities and played games about it to have the words used and memorized.

This week:

Thematic : Weighing in grams and kilogram.

English: Prefixes

Math : Perimeter and Area.

Bahasa Indonesia dan Budaya Indonesia: Modes of transportation, public places

Next Week:

We will have four days of school next week.  Friday, Dec 15th is Teachers PD day

Thematic: Capacity

English: Construction ( I will —-> I’ll)

Math : Perimeter and Area and the application in daily basis.

Bahasa Indonesia and Budaya: Giving direction, Money, Buying and selling, role playing game to practice going to the market, buying and selling stuff.

Upcoming events:

FRIDAY, Dec 8th : Grade 3 showcase. The students are going to show some of their learning in the assembly. All the parents are cordially invited. The assembly starts at 2:30 at the Sangkep. Hope to see everybody there.

FRIDAY, Dec 8th: House Sport Field Day. Please have your child coming to school with their house color and PE shoes.
