Greetings Early Years! Wishing you a wondrous Wednesday! Here in Bali, the weather has been absolutely delightful with a nice breeze and I have been remembering to take a moment to look up at the sky and enjoy the dancing kites, bringing me into the present moment.
The last couple of weeks of the school year are a time of celebration and reflection. The teachers are reminiscing about the first days of school and finding it hard to believe that the end of the school year will be here soon. We hope to meet many of our students in the Zoom sessions as we savor these last few days together before the holidays begin. If you are looking for some more community connections, the WOAH festival can be found on this website which is a celebration of World Oceans Day which took place on Monday. Have you tried making an origami dolphin yet? Grade 8 QUEST projects started to be released yesterday. We have Footprint projects from Grade 5 and some of these might be really interesting for our Early Years students to watch as well. Our Grade 12 students have started filming their Greenstones and last but not least, our Kindy friends have been working hard to prepare for their Graduation and 'stepping up' ceremony to Grade 1. Our Gecko and Starling students have also begun thinking about changes that will happen in their new grade levels and getting ready to fly to the next chapter. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist during these transition times. Sending love!
